  A website redesign brings a brand in focus
 
 
Intequus had an industry identity issue. They are leaders providing custom hardware solutions for big-deal corporations like Netflix. But their previous website made them seem like less than that.
Stormship started by reviewing and streamlining the Intequus’ previous messaging and marketing visuals, which worked on their own but not collectively. “Stormship did a fantastic job at taking our divergent messaging and visuals and guide us to define the Intequus brand.” says David Guzzi, VP & General Manager of Intequus. The redesigned website—custom built in WordPress in a way that clearly conveyed Intequus’ product offerings to their enterprise-level customers—positioned Intequus as the major industry player that they are.

  Water changes everything
 
 

On the one year anniversary of his new business, Bullet Marketing, our friend and colleague John Hyde decided to show his gratitude by giving back by donating time and money to his favorite nonprofit—Charity: water.   Stormship Holiday Alert – International Talk Like a Pirate Day
 
 

While we here at Stormship aren’t big on taking time off for those lesser-known holidays, that certainly doesn’t mean we don’t celebrate them just the same. And one of them is right around the corner.

We’ll skip with the lame pirate imitations and get right down to it – September 19 is International Talk Like a Pirate Day. Started by a couple of guys (naturally) in 1995, TLAPD has become an international phenomenon. At least according to the official web site.

But you can’t celebrate without a pirate name. Here’s the long form to get your name. And for those of you who just don’t have the time for a questionnaire, go here.

  Boston Design Museum
 
 

The shoes on your feet, the chair you are sitting on, the bowl you ate your cereal out of, the park you walk your dog in—all of these things were originally visualized by a designer. Whether you are a creative professional, or simply appreciate good design, then you will want to learn about Design Museum Boston, who’s mission is to educate the public on the role of design in their lives.

There are 48,000 designers working throughout Massachusetts in the fields of: advertising, architecture, entertainment, fashion, landscape architecture, urban planning, video game design, web design, graphic design, industrial design, interaction design and interior design. Their work increases the beauty and utility of our built environment and significantly contributes to the public well-being and economy of our state.

Design museum Boston’s mission is to educate the public on the role of design in their lives and the contributions of design within the creative economy. We love this.
